Ms. Anna M. Reeves, 88 of Raleigh NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by family. She was the embodiment of love, strength and faith.
Annie Mae, to those who knew her well, was born on July 24, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio, the youngest daughter of Ernest and Annie Glover Barnes. She was a 1954 graduate of East High School and a participant in Y-Teens. She was a pillar of strength, a guiding light, and a constant source of encouragement to all who had the privilege of being a part of her life. Her love for her family knew no bounds and her generosity of spirit extended to everyone she met. She worked for many years in healthcare at Peaceful Acres and Colonial Manor as a Nurses Aid. Anna had a heart to help those in need. Anna was a life-long member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board, Senior Mission, Gospel Chorus, Women's Ministry, and was a faithful Sunday School and Bible Study attendee.
