Frances Lorenda Stone, of Boardman, OH, passed away on Dec. 13, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Eureka, CA, a daughter of the late Archie and Jessie Highley Bunch. Frances was a dedicated American Baptist since she was 16 years old, demonstrating her faith through active participation in her church community. She served honorably on the Board of General Ministries of the American Baptist Church in the United States, enriching the lives of many through her commitment to service. Her tireless efforts continued as she engaged with the Baptist Women's Mission, where she made significant contributions at the local, association, regional, and national levels. As a homemaker, Frances devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children. Her nurturing spirit was evident in the care she provided to her family and her unwavering support for their aspirations. Frances was also a talented artisan, finding joy in quilting and knitting.
