Columbus,OH- George Greer, was born on March 24, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the seventh child born to the late Porter and Mattie S. Greer, confessing Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savoir at an early age. On March13, 2025, George entered eternity triumphantly after a tragic automobile encounter in Columbus, yet selflessly he extended life to others as an organ and tissue donor.
George attended East High School where he learned to play the drums and became a very talented drummer in the high school band. George also went out for the football team, being selected as a First String Running Back due to his superior athleticism in the sport.
George enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1968 after graduating from East High School. George's military career spanned eight years as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist.
