Karl F. Adams, Sr., 95 passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday evening March 6, 2025. Karl was born February 1, 1930, in Youngstown, a son of Michael Thamas and Laura Waller Adams.
He was a Woodrow Wilson High School graduate and took courses at Youngstown College before he enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1951. In 1953 he was honorably discharged after obtaining the rank of Staff Sergent.
Karl spent his whole working career at Ohio Edison, retiring as a Commercial Account Representative. Upon retirement, Karl worked as a bartender at the Saxon Club, where he made several lasting friendships.
Karl would frequent the Boulevard Restaurant on Thursday evenings after work for their famous spaghetti dinners.
He was a founding member of St. Luke Church and later St. Charles Church.
Karl moved to Bonita Springs, Florida, after the passing of his loving wife, Alice.
An outgoing person, Karl enjoyed golfing, swimming and making friends wherever he went.
