North Jackson - Joseph “Joe” Michael Mayor was born January 5, 1955, to Joseph and Agnes (Belcik) Mayor. Joe passed peacefully, after a well-lived life, on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was a graduate of Struthers High School, class of 1973. He obtained his Associate of Applied Business Degree from YSU in 1978. A year later, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Joe held various management positions in local steel companies. Joe took advanced classes in metallurgy while working at the mills. In 1999, Joe turned his attention to investing in real estate and honed his craft as a self-taught real estate investor and rehabber. He became known as a local expert in the field, gaining him many friends. Joe was always willing to share his knowledge and mentor those interested in real estate investments.
