Youngstown – Lucinda M. "Lou" Fusco, 89, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully, Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2025 with her family by her side.
Lou was born May 21, 1935, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Margaret (McFate) Sovik. She was proud to have grown up on the Eastside and was a 1953 graduate of East High School as a "Golden Bear".
Lou was a proud homemaker and always made her family their top priority. She enjoyed cooking and baking for them along with spending time with family. She especially looked forward to attending her granddaughter's sporting events.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Senior Citizens and played bocce at the MVR and the Pacentrano Club.
She will always be remembered for her smile and sociable personality. She was full of life and loved to go to the Casino and play games of chance, watching the Hallmark channel, and was an avid reader.
